Election Headquarters
Zeus_Symbol.pngThe great Olympian god Zeus has decided to step down as the king of the Greek gods. He has decided that the only fair manner in which to select his successor is to hold an election. He has given all the Olympians a chance to take over the throne. He has even decided to give his baby-eating father, Cronus, and his man-creating uncle, Prometheus, an opportunity to show their worth as leaders. Follow along as the campaign trail heats up with the usual antics of the Greek gods.

Party Time!

party_time_picture.PNGThe Greek gods have aligned themselves into three parties for this election year. Apollo, Cronus, Demeter, Hades and Hephaestus have formed the Alpha Party. Prometheus, Athena, Dionysus and Hestia have formed the Nu Party. Finally, Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, Hera, Hermes and Poseidon have formed the Omega Party.

Each party held a convention to decide which candidates would move on the primary elections. After much bickering and fighting... as would be expected of the gods, two candidates from each party were left standing. The Alpha candidates will be Apollo and Hephaestus. The Nu candidates will be Prometheus and Athena. Last but not least the Omega party will be represented by Poseidon and Aphrodite.

Please feel free to visit the Alpha Party, Nu Party, and/or the Omega Party pages.

One-on-One

The great Greek historian Herodotus has volunteered to interview all the candidates to help voters make an informed decision when electing the new king of the gods. You may go to the discussion page to take a look at the complete transcripts.

Radio Waves

The candidates have used some of their campaign funds to create radio ads to help persuade voters into making the right choice in this year's election. Please enjoy their efforts. These ads may also be found at each respective party pages.

And the winner is...

After a historic election of Olympian proportions one Greek god has won the favor of Zeus. The newly election God of gods is ... Poseidon!!!

Congratulations to Poseidon and the Omega Party!
