The great Olympian god
has decided to step down as the king of the Greek gods. He has decided that the only fair manner in which to select his successor is to hold an election. He has given all the Olympians a chance to take over the throne. He has even decided to give his baby-eating father, Cronus, and his man-creating uncle, Prometheus, an opportunity to show their worth as leaders. Follow along as the campaign trail heats up with the usual antics of the Greek gods.
The Greek gods have aligned themselves into three parties for this election year. Apollo, Cronus, Demeter, Hades and Hephaestus have formed the Alpha Party. Prometheus, Athena, Dionysus and Hestia have formed the Nu Party. Finally, Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, Hera, Hermes and Poseidon have formed the Omega Party.
Each party held a convention to decide which candidates would move on the primary elections. After much bickering and fighting... as would be expected of the gods, two candidates from each party were left standing. The Alpha candidates will be Apollo and Hephaestus. The Nu candidates will be Prometheus and Athena. Last but not least the Omega party will be represented by Poseidon and Aphrodite.
